N-TRIS is a free falling-block puzzle game that runs entirely in your web browser, made by Cooper Wilk. It generalises Tetris to polyominoes of every size: instead of only the seven classic four-cell tetrominoes, pieces range from a single square (a monomino) up to enormous eight-cell octominoes. The board is 12 columns by 20 rows. Clear lines by filling complete rows; clearing up to eight lines at once awards SINGLE, DOUBLE, TRIPLE, QUAD, QUINT, HEXA, HEPTA and OCTA clears.
The game implements guideline-style modern mechanics: a 7-bag style weighted randomiser, hold piece, five-piece next queue, ghost piece, hard drop and soft drop, DAS and ARR movement tuning, lock delay with move resets, and SRS+ wall kicks matching tetr.io, including 180-degree rotation. T-spins use the three-corner rule with mini detection; every other piece can score all-spins via the immobility rule. Scoring includes combos, back-to-back bonuses and level-based gravity. Controls are fully rebindable and there is a light and dark theme.
Each game mode has a global leaderboard of high scores. Your player name is stored locally in your browser and submitted with your score, level, lines and time when a game ends.
N-TRIS works on desktop and mobile. On touch devices the layout switches to a fullscreen board with touch controls: drag horizontally to move the piece, tap the left or right half of the board to rotate, drag down to soft drop, flick down to hard drop, swipe up (or tap the hold box) to hold, and two-finger tap to rotate 180 degrees.
